Sie ist die imposanteste Schlucht Europas. Zuerst machten wir einen kleinen Schlenker in den Ort Moustiers, um noch ein Baguette und etwas Verpflegung f\u00fcr unterwegs zu besorgen. Dann ging es gem\u00e4chlich zum Eingang der Schlucht. Wir wollten die linke Seite flussaufw\u00e4rts befahren. Diese ist zwar an einigen Stellen erheblich steiler, aber auch um einiges attraktiver. Die meiste Steigung von circa 1300 H\u00f6henmetern ist auf den ersten 35 km zu fahren. Das ist eine starke Ansage f\u00fcr ein Velomobil. Ungef\u00e4hr 3% auf 100 km. Daf\u00fcr ist entweder eine gute \u00dcbersetzung oder eine Unterst\u00fctzung durch einen Pedelecmotor sinnvoll, wenn man noch mit Campinggep\u00e4ck unterwegs ist. In meinem Alpha 7 habe ich 2&#215;11, vorne 34\/60 und hinten 11-46. Brigitte f\u00e4hrt 1&#215;12 vorne mit 54 Z\u00e4hnen und hinten 11-52, plus Bafang Tretlagermotor.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Immer wieder halten wir an, um den Ausblick in die Schlucht genie\u00dfen. Wie auch viele Auto- und im Motorradfahrer. Da noch keine Hochsaison ist, h\u00e4lt sich der Verkehr aber sehr in Grenzen. Am Anfang \u00fcberholt uns ein Rennrad Club, die hier mit circa 30 Leuten unterwegs sind.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">So klettern wir h\u00f6her und h\u00f6her und haben bald das D\u00f6rfchen La Palud erreicht. Dort machen wir eine kleine Mittagspause und kommen mit einem Fahrradverleiher ins Gespr\u00e4ch, der sich f\u00fcr unsere Velomobile interessiert. Er schockt uns ein wenig mit der Aussage, dass die Route am Anfang \u00fcber 8 km 11% Steigung h\u00e4tte. Und am Ende mit 14-15 % wieder hinunter geht. Das bringt uns auf den Gedanken unser Gep\u00e4ck hier zu deponieren. Bald haben wir eine Creperie gefunden, die sich bereit erkl\u00e4rt es so lange im hinteren Zimmer aufzubewahren. Dann geht es los. Diese Extraschleife, \u201eRoute du Crete\u201c, ist sensationell. Die Ausblicke an den Aussichtspunkten sind unglaublich. Es geht hunderte Meter tief hinab in die Schlucht. Und unten kann man manchmal das schmale t\u00fcrkisfarbene Band der Verdon sehen. \u00dcber uns fliegt immer wieder ein Geier. Er scheint neugierig zu sein wegen unserer bunten Velomobil. Denn jedes Mal, wenn ich anhalte, um einen Besichtigungspunkt anzuschauen, dauert es h\u00f6chstens 1 Minute und der Geier ist wieder da. Manchmal fliegt er in 10-20 m Abstand \u00fcber oder vor uns daher.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Die Steigung ist mitnichten durchg\u00e4ngig bei 11%, sondern oft geringer. Und auch auf der anderen Seite der Runde, ist es nur manchmal so steil. Trotzdem m\u00fcssen wir ein paar Mal anhalten, um unsere Bremsen zu k\u00fchlen. Die notwendigen Pausen sind ein willkommener Anlass die Gegend und die Aussicht zu geniessen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Wieder im Ort angekommen, bestellen wir in der Creperie zwei Galette und packen in der Zwischenzeit unser Gep\u00e4ck wieder ein. Anschlie\u00dfend belohnen wir uns mit dem Essen und zwei Panach\u00e9 zum abk\u00fchlen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Jetzt m\u00fcssen wir ein St\u00fcckchen bergab rollen, um dann noch einmal einen kleineren Anstieg zu nehmen. Anschlie\u00dfend geht es sehr gem\u00e4\u00dfigt bis Castellan.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p><a
