First time pumping after 2 weeks. Lost 1-2 bar. Discovered a puncture on the side. Secured it with a patch and replaced the side. ??? Under observation. Spare tyres not planned yet.
Blue sky with a few clouds. Up and down as usual. The climbs are getting a bit longer.
On the way we meet a Spaniard on his bike. He started in Bergen and is riding to Tromsø.
Down to the huge Sognefjord.
The two Americans interviewed us at length. And many others were passing the time around us. On the ferry again.
My secret in front of me. It's only for the cooker, of course.
And then at the campsite.
The pump seal was broken. Tried to fix it with a part of the tube. In the end the cooker or everything went up in smoke. Petrol leaked out, ignited and was carried to the gravel area in the middle. The neighbour used his fire extinguisher, but it didn't work. The second one did. But it was not enough to extinguish the fire completely. Very interesting, the safety bottle is actually a safety bottle. No explosion or anything. The plastic parts melted, petrol came burning out of the bottle, but only about 20-30 cm. That was it. So the kitchen stayed cold. The bottle is still intact and sooty. So is the burner. The coarse regulator on the supply line is coked. It can be replaced. At home.
