When developing the Milan, great emphasis was placed on durability and sustainability. The body, the subframe, seat, seat support and the mono swing arm are made of high quality carbon material and are therefore durable and corrosion-free.
The axles of the wheels are made of steel so that they last almost indefinitely. They are made of steel that (in an accident, for example) does not break but bends. This means that additional safeguards against overload are built in.
As already described above, the drive components last much longer than a normal bicycle due to the drive encapsulation. The components are high quality standard components from well-known component manufacturers. This means that you can also incorporate new developments from the component manufacturers, as great importance was attached to compatibility with the technology.
