Hi, it's Jan from VelomobileWorld.com and we gonna make nice maintenance videos about the Alpha models. Let's see how we do it.

 

In this video I want to show you how to replaced your polyurethane springs. So, first of all your take off this cover, it can happen to crack, this is just thermal... thermal contracting/contraction tube, that you can buy from electronic shops. The highest one has a bit of... rounded edges, so what happens over time, this is compressed and after a time this is gonna be fully compressed and you need to replace them, because otherwise you are way to low over the asphalt.

 

These you can get in three different hardnesses or actually for weights. These are the soft ones and then we have one dimension bigger and another bigger one, so you have more compression. In the Technical Support... on the Technical Support page I will write you down which dimensions exactly are available and which adapters.

 

But yeah, it's like take the old ones off, put the new ones on, and always check if there is someone worn out here on this part. If that's the case, you have to replace this part.
