We know the feeling. You’re walking down the street, or enjoying an event, and this sleek, aerodynamic shape glides past you. Your brain is trying to figure out if it’s a tiny spaceship, a futuristic car, or a bicycle.
It’s actually a velomobile—a highly efficient, human-powered (and sometimes electrically assisted) vehicle wrapped in a lightweight carbon-fiber shell. It’s built for speed, weather protection, and honestly, a whole lot of fun.
Who We Are & What We Do
We are Velomobile World. Based in Breaza, Mureș – Romania. Our team dedicates their days to handcrafting some the Velomobiles that you just saw!
We don’t design these for sci-fi movies, we build them for real people who want an alternative to cars, a faster way to commute, or an incredible machine for long-distance touring. And, if you ask us, the most exciting thing is feeling that speed – entirely made by your own body.

While our manufacturing heart beats in our dedicated facility in Mureș county – Breaza, our community is completely global. You’ll find our velomobiles commuting through busy city streets, racing on tracks, or crossing entire continents on touring adventures.
