At 2.60m long and 80cm wide, the W9 features a modified shape that maintains the advantages of its larger siblings while offering improved directional stability and a more streamlined profile.
The W9’s design allows for a lower seating position, enhancing driving dynamics without compromising comfort. The front has been thoughtfully widened by 1.5cm where it matters most, increasing crank space for optimal pedaling efficiency. Despite its compact dimensions, the W9 comfortably accommodates riders up to 1.80m tall (or 1.90m with 140mm cranks).
Built with racing genes, the W9 features closed wheel arches, a rigid drive system, and permanently integrated mirrors that automatically align perfectly – especially appealing during open-top driving. The velomobile excels in both high-performance scenarios and everyday use, with ample storage space including optional side compartments.

Yes, orders from February 20, 2023 onwards include a hood with window wiper as standard equipment when selected in the configurator.
What is the maximum rider height for the W9?
Despite the reduction of the outer dimensions, the W9 offers space for riders up to 1.87m with shoe size 44, even taller riders up to 1.90m will find room if crank lengths of 140mm are used. The entry area is 3 cm narrower at the front than on the M9, but identical again at the rear, making it more suitable for real women.
How does the storage capacity compare to other velomobiles?
While slightly smaller than the M9, the W9 offers generous storage along both sides of the seat, plus optional side compartments in front of the wheel arches for additional capacity.
