Velomobile Road Trip with Brigitte and Fritz day 6,7 and 8

DAY 6

Today only the defect had to be repaired. The day was filled with that. Moreover, it was simply a rest day from cycling. With the hanger re-laminated, now it only needed 24 hours to cure.

DAY 7

Today we went on a bike ride with Ilona and Andreas. Otherwise, it was time to relax.

DAY 8

Alsace

The velomobile was now ready to drive again and we made our way back to Seligenstadt in Alsace. We drove the first part on the German side and then to south of Strasbourg over the Rhine. The second part was identical to our first attempt to reach Sélestat 3 days ago. This time everything went well and we got there fairly early with no problems. The city is worth seeing. We continued south on the Alsatian Wine Route. Past vineyards and through pretty towns to Colmar. After we pitched the tent at the campsite, it started to rain lightly. The rain continued until morning with short breaks.
