Professionally, I’ve been a motorcycle technician for 29 years.
I’m passionate about bicycles and one of my hobbies is mountain biking, something that I do regularly.
I really enjoy cycling long distances and going to new places, which gives me a pleasant feeling of freedom and pleasure.
Over the years I’ve taken part in many bike races and events, both in Portugal and abroad, something I haven’t done recently and intend to do again.
I decided to buy a Velomobile because I want to use the bike more often, and less the car, in order to get more physical exercise, on my way to work for commuting or weekend adventures, even when the weather is bad.
The Velomobile is a very comfortable and efficient vehicle, it allows you to carry luggage inside the shell without it being exposed to the elements or ruining the aerodynamics, so you can travel long distances with less energy and more comfort than a regular bicycle, which makes it a companion for new and different adventures.
It’s a 100% ecological and environmentally friendly vehicle, because it has no engine and uses only the energy of our body, the only thing it burns are the unwanted calories that we want to lose so much. It promotes our health while saving money on fuel, helping the environment with no emissions of polluting gases.
Overall, it’s a very interesting, good-looking and evolved vehicle. For me, it’s an excellent alternative transport solution.

O Velomobile é um veiculo muito confortável e eficaz , permite levar bagagens dentro da carcaça sem esta estar exposta aos elementos ou arruinar a aerodinâmica , podendo assim percorrer longas distâncias com menos energia e mais conforto que uma bicicleta comum , o que o torna num companheiro para novas e diferentes aventuras.
É um veiculo 100% ecológico e amigo do ambiente , pois não tem motor e utiliza unicamente a energia do nosso corpo , a única coisa que queima são as indesejáveis calorias que tanto queremos perder . Promove a nossa saúde enquanto poupamos dinheiro no combustível , ajudando o meio ambiente com menos emissões de gases poluentes.
No geral é um veiculo muito interessante , com boa aparência e evoluído . para mim é uma exelente solução alternativa de transporte.

After Eggert Bülk and Jens Buckbesch started the Milan project in 2005 (which is still running successfully today), they started a new velomobile project in 2021, the Bülk-MK1.
