All of them found their purpose, whether it was collecting aluminum cans from the road ditches, getting to school and work, or winning the Minnesota state Keirin Championship. When I decided to buy my first velomobile, I chose the Bülk because it combines my need for racing, taking care of the environment, and getting the groceries. But after having my first test ride at age 57, I realized the need to have fun again is most important!

After Eggert Bülk and Jens Buckbesch started the Milan project in 2005 (which is still running successfully today), they started a new velomobile project in 2021, the Bülk-MK1. It implements a new space utilization and aerodynamic concept. The findings from various wind tunnel tests were also taken into account.
