Light Adjustment
Lighting System Adjustment
The Bülk lighting system requires proper adjustment for safe operation. When adjusting the front light, position the velomobile five meters from a flat wall. The standard headlight should be mounted at 40 centimeters height, with the beam adjusted to illuminate 25-30 centimeters up the wall. This downward angle prevents blinding oncoming traffic.
The hotspot light, mounted at approximately 88 centimeters, should create a beam pattern showing approximately 55 centimeters up the wall at five meters distance. This ensures proper road illumination while maintaining safety for other road users.
For height adjustments, the front light offers simple adjustment capabilities. The hotspot light requires more careful adjustment using mounting screws. When lowering the hotspot light, remove the mounting screws, test the position, then secure it permanently once the correct angle is achieved.
System Configurations
The Bülk electrical system is available in two configurations: IQ-X and Lupine. Each system provides comprehensive lighting, signaling, and safety features designed specifically for velomobile use.
IQ-X System Configuration
The IQ-X system features the IQ-X E 150 headlight system integrated with comprehensive safety features. The system includes front and rear lighting, turn signals, brake lights, and audio warning devices. Power management is handled through a dedicated step-down converter module and protected by appropriate fusing.

Lupine System Configuration
