Component Inspection
Regular inspection should focus on angle joints for play and proper tightening. Counter nuts require checking for proper tension. The longitudinal bar movement should be smooth to prevent metal fatigue during steering operations.
Rubber Damper System
The system utilizes dual rubber washers with a center bushing for shock absorption. This configuration protects the carbon fiber wheel well from impact damage during encounters with road hazards. Proper assembly order is crucial for optimal performance.
Track Adjustment Methods
Three primary methods for checking track alignment:
Direct Measurement Method Measure tire distances front and rear to verify alignment. Adjustments can be made by carefully turning the bar ends in small increments.
Rolling Test Method Performed on a slight slope to determine optimal alignment through distance testing. This method provides precise efficiency data but requires significant time.
Track Tool Method Using the specialized track measuring tool available from the website. This method allows precise measurement of toe-in/toe-out conditions. Optimal setting is between 0-2mm toe-in.
