Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity under your local jurisdiction to enter into binding contracts.

Products and Orders

We offer velomobiles, parts, and accessories. All product descriptions, specifications, images, and prices are provided in good faith but may contain errors or be updated without notice.

Pricing and Taxes

All prices are in EUR and include VAT where applicable. For customers outside the EU, prices may not include local duties, taxes, or customs fees, which are the buyer’s responsibility.

Ordering and Payment

Orders are binding once confirmed. We accept payment via secure payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Bank Transfer). We reserve the right to cancel orders if fraud or error is suspected.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery Areas

VelomobileWorld ships to most countries worldwide. Delivery availability may vary depending on your location. If you are unsure whether we ship to your address, please contact our support team prior to placing an order.

Delivery Time

Each velomobile is handcrafted and built to order. Estimated delivery timeframes are provided at the time of purchase and may vary depending on model, customization options, and current production queue. As a general guideline, standard delivery times are as follows:

European Union: 6 to 12 weeks from order confirmation

Outside EU: 8 to 16 weeks from order confirmation

These estimates include production and transit time, but are not guaranteed.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address, order size, and shipping method selected. Shipping costs are not calculated at checkout. Our team will contact you post-order with shipping options and rates. No charges will be finalized without your approval. Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes applicable in their country.

Delays and Force Majeure

While we strive to meet our delivery estimates, delays may occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to: Material shortages, Customs clearance delays, Transport disruptions, Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, wars).

In such cases, VelomobileWorld will inform you of any significant changes to your estimated delivery time and make reasonable efforts to minimize the delay. However, we are not liable for any indirect damages or losses resulting from delayed delivery.

Risk of Loss

Risk of loss or damage to the product passes to the customer upon delivery. Customers are advised to inspect the shipment upon receipt and report any visible damages to the carrier immediately. Any damage claims must also be reported to VelomobileWorld within 48 hours of delivery.

Returns and Cancellations

Under EU law, consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, except for custom-made products. To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel in writing within this period.

Return Procedure

To initiate a return, contact us at contact@velomobileworld.com. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made a mistake.

Warranty

Our custom made products come with a standard 3-year warranty or 50,000 km against manufacturing defects, unless otherwise specified. Warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear. For warranty claims please contact us at contact@velomobileworld.com. In accordance with EU consumer law, all non-custom products are covered by a minimum 2-year legal conformity guarantee from the date of delivery.

Ambassador Program and User-Generated Content

By submitting photos, videos, testimonials, or stories, you confirm the content is your own or that you have permission to share it. You grant us a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, edit, and share the content on our website, social media, marketing materials, and publications. We reserve the right to modify or remove content at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content on VelomobileWorld.com — including text, logos, images, videos, and downloadable materials — is owned by Velomobile World or licensed to us. “Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of content is prohibited. If you wish to use our content, please contact us at contact@velomobileworld.com for permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products or services. Velomobiles are human-powered vehicles. Users are responsible for operating them safely and within local traffic laws. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded by applicable law.

Technical Advice and Safety Disclaimer

Any advice or content provided on this site (maintenance guides, riding tips, speed data, etc.) is for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified professional when in doubt. We are not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages resulting from improper use. Users assume full responsibility for the use of any information provided.
