Day 16.

Montelimar - Orange - Malaucene

Tonight I noticed that I was getting positional vertigo again. In the morning after breakfast I had to throw up everything again. I spent half the day trying to get the dizziness under control. Then we could finally start.

First we drove to Orange today to see the Roman theatre there. It is one of the most beautiful theatres in the world.

While I sat in the café with an ice cream, Brigitte visited the theatre.

Then we drove out of Orange towards Mont Ventoux. It is also called the Fujiyama of Provence. It was clearly visible on the horizon and slowly approaching. In front of it, the small mountain range of the Dentelles de Montmirail could be seen. Very popular with climbers. We passed many vineyards and reached Vaison-la-Romaine. There we did some shopping and then drove the last 9 km to Malaucene. We checked in at the campsite for two nights. We wanted to ride Mont Ventoux the next day and then stay at the campsite again.
