Day 19.
Avignon > Gordes > Roussillon > Apt

The drive out of Avignon was relatively uneventful. At noon, we stopped at a boulangerie and bought delicious quiche, a baguette and two tartes with lemon and basil. After that we went to Gordes. A hillside town that still retains its original townscape and is therefore very charming. The drive up was quite sweaty in the summer heat.
The second visit was to Roussillon. The city of the ochre colors. A small village whose houses are painted with different colors of ochre. The colors were already sought after by the Romans in their empire.
Now only to Abbot to a campsite. In the supermarket there we got us magnesium tablets, which we no longer had and absolutely need in the heat.
